TISFD

TISFD

TISFD, the Taskforce on Inequality and Social-related Financial Disclosures, is a new global framework that helps companies understand how their operations affect people, and how these issues in turn affect business performance, risk profile, and long-term value creation. The framework was developed to create better more comparable information on impacts, dependencies, risks, and opportunities related to people and society. It builds on established standards such as ISSB, GRI, and ESRS, and is designed to be used alongside existing processes.

Starting to work with TISFD isn't just about reporting. It's about integrating social issues into how a business is governed, how risks are managed, and how strategic decisions are made. For many organisations, this represents a new way of connecting sustainability work with financial performance and business strategy.

How we support you

We support companies through this entire journey, from initial understanding to a fully integrated way of working. The process begins by building a clear picture of how the business affects people, both within the organisation and across the value chain. This includes identifying relevant stakeholders and analysing where the most significant social issues arise. The goal is to create a robust, structured foundation that makes it possible to prioritise the right actions.

From there, we connect impacts and dependencies to concrete business risks and opportunities. A central part of TISFD is clarifying how social factors can affect areas such as costs, revenue, assets, and access to capital. Making these connections visible creates better decision support, for both management and the board.

An important part of our work is ensuring that TISFD doesn't become a side track but is instead integrated into the organisation's existing governance and processes. We help develop how people-related issues are handled within governance structures, how they're incorporated into risk management, and how they're connected to business strategy. This can also involve developing relevant policies and action plans that support a more systematic way of working.

In parallel, we work to establish practical processes for how issues should be identified, assessed, and monitored over time. This includes how the organization approaches stakeholder dialogue, how data is collected, and how the work connects to other frameworks and ongoing initiatives. The ambition is to create ways of working that are both effective and sustainable over the long term.

When it comes to reporting, we help interpret and apply TISFD's structure, ensuring that reporting is clear, relevant, and aligned with the organisation's broader sustainability reporting. The focus is on creating information that is understandable and useful for both internal and external stakeholders.

Why TISFD is relevant?

Working with TISFD now offers an opportunity to stay ahead of a development in which social issues are becoming increasingly business critical. There is growing demand from investors and other stakeholders for better information on how companies manage social risks, including those that affect entire systems and markets. At the same time, a structured approach creates better conditions for identifying risks early and building more resilient, sustainable business models.

Our ambition is to make TISFD practical, business-relevant, and integrated into day-to-day work. By combining regulatory understanding with implementation experience, we help organisations move from ambition to concrete change.
