1. Acceptance of Terms of Use
By registering and using the BDO-portal (“Portal”), you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not accept the terms and conditions, you should not use the portal.
2. Use of the service
- The Portal may only be used for lawful communication and document sharing between you and BDO.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the information you share is accurate and does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
- You agree to use the Portal in accordance with the instructions provided by BDO and/or its subcontractors when using their services through the portal.
3. Account details
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
- You may not share your account with others or use someone else's account without permission.
- You are obliged to notify BDO, by sending an e-mail to support@bdo.se immediately if you have lost your login details or suspect that unauthorized persons have gained access to them.
4. Restrictions on use
You agree not to use the Portal for any of the following:
- Spreading malicious code, viruses, or other technology that could damage the portal or its users.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, data, or systems.
- Upload, share, or store material that is illegal, offensive, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Using the Portal to send spam, advertising, or other unwanted communications.
- Manipulate or interfere with the portal's functions, security, or availability.
You also agree not to help any third party do any of the above. BDO reserves the right to take action, including suspension or deletion of accounts, in cases of suspected unauthorized use.
5. Intellectual property
- All content on the Portal, including software, design, and documentation, belongs to BDO or its licensors.
- You may not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, distribute, or modify the content within the Portal.
6. Limitation of liability
- BDO is not responsible for loss of data, service interruptions, or other damages arising from the use of the Portal.
- BDO reserves the right to temporarily suspend access to the Portal at its sole discretion, including without limitation in the event of repair, maintenance, system failure, or for reasons beyond our control.
- The service is provided “as is” without warranty.
7. Data protection
- Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We process personal data in order to give you access to Portal.

8. Amendments to the terms
- BDO may update these terms and conditions from time to time. You will be notified of any changes and must accept them in order to continue using the Portal.
9. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time.
- BDO reserves the right to terminate or restrict your access to the Portal in the event of a breach of these terms and conditions.
